Eliminate greasy finger marks on walls by rubbing with chalk and then removing the chalk with a damp cloth

Want to quickly clean the BBQ grates before you cook? Turn on your grill and let it get hot. Take an onion and cut it in half, then rub it on the grates well with a BBQ fork. The acid in the onion will break down food debris and clean the grill for you.

No need to scrub your faucet thoroughly if it has fingerprints, just grab a roll of wax paper. Rub a piece of the paper on the chrome of steel surface to wipe away fingerprints easily. This method should work on most metals, plastics, and other surfaces.

Have you ever looked at the rubber gasket near your front-loading washing machine’s door? This place is a hotbed for germs and debris, and can be pretty gross, especially if it develops mold. Stop that from happening by cleaning your gasket thoroughly. Mix ½ hot water and ½ white vinegar in a spray bottle, and spray on the seal/gasket. Let sit for several minutes, then use a clean washcloth, paper towels or a scrub brush to wipe clean.

Use salt to remove fresh fabric stains: Pour salt on new spills to keep them from staining. The salt will absorb the spot and keep it from staining. After an hour or so brush off the salt and wash the spot by hand with a little cool water and dish soap. The spot should be gone.

Remove grease stains: To clean grease stains from carpet or other surface, just mix four parts rubbing alcohol with one part salt, and then rub the mixture into the stain. Let the surface dry and vacuum up any remaining salt.

Do you want to freshen your microfiber sofa? Lightly mist it with rubbing alcohol. Rub over it with microfiber cloths, first going against the fabric nap and then with it. Change the microfiber cloths frequently. Let it dry and then brush it. *Always try any cleaning method in an inconspicuous area to be sure no damage occurs.

Leather car seats, leather furniture leather purses, shoes, etc. dirty looking? Take a microfiber cloth and wet with warm water. Rub it over a bar of DOVE Bath Soap and wash the leather. Keep the cloth rinsed and clean. Buff thoroughly with a dry microfiber cloth. No rinsing needed.
