Now’s the time to put together a Covid19 care kit. The disinfecting products are coming back into stores so it’s a great time to plan ahead. Now I am not saying buy up every hand sanitizer you see and start hoarding toilet paper. I am saying have a kit ready in case we get a new wave of Covid19.

YOU WILL NEED: A plastic storage box with a lid, labeled and dated. You can also use an appropriate size cardboard box, sealed and labeled and dated. Pick a good storage place. Don’t store in the garage. Heat will destroy most products.

HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED:

2 – Bottles of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide – Used undiluted this will kill the coronavirus

2 – Bottles of 70% or above isopropyl alcohol – Used undiluted this will kill the Cornonavirus

1 – gallon of Liquid Chlorine Bleach – diluted bleach solution (⅓ cup bleach per 1 gallon of water or 4 teaspoons bleach per 1 quart of water) will kill Cornonavirus.

2 – Hand Sanitizers – Must have 70% or higher alcohol content

2 – Disinfecting Wipes

Box of masks

Disposable gloves – warehouse stores are a good source for these

4 – Pump Hand Soap – I also like Dr Bronner’s Castile Soap. It can be diluted down into hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, etc.

1 – Large Dish Soap

2 – Disinfectant Spray – Lysol, Clorox or similar

Laundry Detergent

MISCELLANEOUS

Toilet Paper – Not massive amounts – if we don’t hoard it will be available

Tissues

Ibuprofen or similar

Cold and cough over the counter medications

Thermometer

Games

Books – workbooks for kids are great puzzles, etc.
