COOKING GONE WRONG. Did your cooking get a little too done? If you have a pan or casserole that is still wearing burnt on food, fill with hot water and drop in a dryer fabric softener sheet. Let soak for a few hours or overnight. Wash and dry.

Stainless steel skillet with burned or baked on grease? Use oven cleaner. Do this outside and on a broken down box or paper. Follow directions on can.

NONSTICK NO LONGER NONSTICK? Fill with an inch or two of water depending on how deep the pan is. Drop in a handful of baking soda and bring to just boiling and simmer 30 minutes. Wash and then rub with a coat of olive oil. Let sit overnight and then wipe with paper towel.

STAINLESS STEEL SINK: If your sink has stains from coffee or tea or looks dull and dirty use Bar Keepers Friend Cleanser to save it. It will not scratch and is safe for stainless steel sinks. Wet the sink, sprinkle with Bar Keepers Friend and rub with a sponge or scrubbing sponge. When done, rinse well with warm water and wash with a little dish soap and water. Rinse and dry.
