This quick little guide will let you race through the house in minutes before guests arrive. The house will smell good too, not like cleaning chemicals, but good and fresh.

THE CLUTTER BASKET

Keep a laundry basket handy. Zoom through the house with the basket going room to room. Remove anything that doesn’t go in that room and put it in the basket. Continue through the entire house and then put the basket in a closet out of sight until later. Clutter gone, house is tidy! A tidy house always looks clean.

BATHROOM 5 MINUTE CLEAN

Where do people have the most time to privately look over your house? It’s the bathroom. Clean it. It’s quick and easy.

First have some microfiber cloths handy. They are antimicrobial and antibacterial. Teamed with this easy bathroom cleaner your bathroom will shine.

QUICK FIX BATHROOM CLEANER

In a spray bottle use a funnel to put these ingredients right into the bottle. No extra dishes.

• ½ – cup White Vinegar
• ½ – cup Vodka
• 10 drops of lavender essential oil
• 10 drops of lemon essential oil
• 1 – ½ cup of water.

Shake the bottle prior to spraying. Spray all and any hard surfaces. Let it sit for 5 or 10 minutes to do the cleaning, and then wipe with a clean microfiber cloth. The bathroom will shine and smell clean too.

PEPPERMINT GLASS AND MIRROR CLEANER

• 2 – Cups Water
• 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar
• 2 Tablespoons Rubbing Alcohol
• 5 – 10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

Put in a spray bottle, shake and spray. Wipe with a microfiber cloth.

If you only make one cleaner, make this one and use it on all the hard surfaces too.

VACUUM

Grab the vacuum and vacuum the floors where people will be.

Go over hard floors with the vacuum or a microfiber mop to pick up dust, lint and pet hair.

Relax. Once people gather no one is looking at your floors. If you have a good time others will too. I guarantee you, your guests are so happy to be at someone’s house besides theirs, they won’t notice anything but what a saint you are!
