CLEANING WITH CREAM OF TARTAR

Mix equal parts vinegar and Cream of Tartar for a wonderful non-abrasive cleaner for nearly all surfaces.
Mix with a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to clean stubborn pots and pans.
Mix with 1/2 as much glycerin and add to a labeled spray bottle. You now have your own homemade laundry stain remover. Works well on grease stains. Shake well before using.
Mix 2 part Cream of Tartar with 1 part lemon juice for a great copper cleaner. Rub in and rinse well,
Porcelain tubs and sinks can be cleaned with equal parts vinegar and Cream of Tartar. Stains will magically disappear when rubbed with this mixture.
Add water to form a paste and apply to bathroom mildew stains. Apply, work in and let sit 1 hours and then rinse.
Remove scratches on dishes with a paste of Cream of Tartar and water.
One teaspoon of Cream of Tartar per quart of warm water makes a great presoak for your whites.
Remove mold and mildew from grout with a mixture of Cream of Tartar and vinegar made into a paste the thickness of school glue.
Remove rust stains from fabric with a paste of Cream of Tartar and water. Mix to consistency of school glue.
Remove ring around the collar by wetting it and applying Cream of Tartar directly to the ring. Rub in. Launder as usual.
Mix equal parts Cream of Tartar and vinegar to clean burner pans. Apply paste and soak about 30 minutes before scrubbing. Repeat if needed.
Mix paste of Cream of Tartar and vinegar to clean your oven. Apply and allow to sit for 2 – 3 hours before rubbing with a scrubbing sponge dipped in vinegar. Repeat if needed.
