DIY HAND SANITIZER

This DIY Hand Sanitizer has enough alcohol to be approved for disinfecting during the Coronavirus epidemic.

DIY HAND SANITIZER – Apply and leave wet on hands 60 seconds or more

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of isopropyl or rubbing alcohol. It must be between 70% and 99%. Look for the percentage on the front of the bottle

1/4 cup of Aloe Vera gel (to help keep your hands smooth and to counteract the harshness of alcohol)

10 drops of essential oil, such as lavender oil, or you can use lemon juice instead

Directions:

Pour all ingredients into a bowl one with a pouring spout like a glass measuring container works best.

Mix with a spoon and then beat with a whisk to turn the sanitizer into a gel.

Pour the ingredients into an empty bottle for easy use. A squirt bottle will also work. Be sure to label it hand sanitizer.

This is a really awesome hand crème for use with the sanitizer. It will keep hands from drying out and is not sticky or slick.

HAND CREAM

Mix two parts glycerin (In drug stores or Amazon) to one part lemon juice. You can use fresh lemon or store bought lemon juice.

Put it into a small labeled container with a snug lid.

The nice thing about this is that it’s not greasy. Because it is clean smelling and natural it’s fantastic for men or women.
