How to keep wrinkles from forming after washing curtains and drapes
How to:
- When you wash washable curtain and drapes they often end up wrinkled even if you hang them immediately.
- This easy hack will keep that from happening.
- Hang the curtains back at the window while they are damp
- While the curtains are still damp slide butter knifes or other knives into the bottom hem on each end. Be sure to use something that won’t rust.
- The weight of the knives holds down and straightens the fabric
- Once the curtains are dry simply remove the knives
- The curtains will hang smoothly.
Warnings & Cautions:
Remember, don't use anything that could leave rust on the damp curtains

If you notice a wrinkle once the curtains are dry, spritz with water and allow to dry with the knives weighting down the bottom of the curtains. Remove them when dry.
