Unusual Things You Can Clean In The Dishwasher

About this Tip:

There are so many things you can clean in the dishwasher to save time

Here are some things that you can clean in your dishwasher
Fip Flops - Cloth or rubber
Hats - Baseball, fabric sun hats. Not straw. Top Rack
Toys - Small and Large
Soap Dishes
Toothbrush Holders
Plastic Flowers
Silicone Oven Mitts
Mouthguards
Put small toys in a mesh laundry bag
Fill the detergent cup with Borox - Do not use dishwasher detergent. It can remove color
Put small things on the top rack, larger things on the bottom
DO NOT use the heat cycle - allow things to air dry
Reshape hats and air dry on a jar or bottle
Use the silverwear basket for small things like mouth guards and toothbrush holders

Warnings & Cautions:

Do not put in things that can't be washed with water

Group small things in a mesh laundry bag You can clean any of these things in the same dishwasher load I like to use the short cycle on the dishwasher

Why It Works:

It allows you to get into small areas and clean and saves cleaning time. Great to wash kids toys after they have had a cold or the flu.
