Removing Super Glue from Household Surfaces
About this Tip:
How to get super glue off of the hard surfaces in your home. May also be used to remove stickers.
How to get super glue off of the hard surfaces in your home. May also be used to remove stickers.
How to:
- Apply 100% Acetone (Nail Polish Remover) to the glue
- Use a cotton swab or old toothbrush to work it into the glue
- Rub firmly until it is removed
- Wash and rinse the surface when done
Notes:
Removes super glue and can also be used to remove stickers
Warnings & Cautions:
ALWAYS TEST on surfaces prior to applying to the glue.
Do not use on wood, it will remove the finish.
Linda Says:
May need several applications to work. Allow to sit on the surface for about 3 minutes and then rub with the swab or toothbrush.
Depending on the glue brand this may not work 100% of the time.
