Gum On Carpet

What you need:

  • Ice
  • Plastic Bag
  • Petroleum Jelly
  • Dull flat edge
  • Carpet spotter

How to:

  1. Put ice in the bag
  2. Lay over the gum to freeze
  3. Scrape up what you can
  4. Work in a very small amount of petroleum jelly into the remaining gum
  5. Roll the gum into the petroleum jelly with your fingers
  6. Scrape up
  7. Use a good carpet spotter to remove the residue from the petroleum jelly and gum. I like Spot Shot Instant Carpet Stain Remover
