Grass/Foliage Stains on Washable Fabrics

What you need:

  • Rubbing Alcohol
  • White Vinegar
  • Laundry Detergent

How to:

  1. Sponge rubbing alcohol on to stain.
  2. Repeat several times.
  3. If stain persists, sponge with white vinegar and rinse.
  4. Work laundry detergent into stain, rinse well.
  5. Launder as usual.

Warnings & Cautions:

Avoid using alkalis such as ammonia, degreasers or alkaline detergents. They interact with the tannin in the grass stains and may permanently set the stain. Be sure stain is entirely removed before drying, otherwise the stain may be permanently set.
