Drawers That Squeak and Stick
What you need:
- Paste Wax
- Bar Soap
- Candle Wax
- Paper Towels
How to:
- Remove the drawer from the cupboard/counter
- Take Paste wax, Bar Soap or a Candle and rub on the track and runners of the drawer
- Wipe off any extra with a paper towel
- Slide the drawer back in and slide back and forth to lubricate it
- Do as needed
Why It Works:
Drawer runners can dry out and accumulate dirt which keeps them from sliding well and can cause squeaking. Lubricating with the paste wax, soap or candle wax will allow them to move freely.
