Cleaning Food Spills Off Bottom of Oven
What you need:
- A lemon
- Oven-safe bowl or cake pan
- Micro fiber cloth
- Scrubbing sponge
- Water
How to:
- Cut a lemon in half and rub the halves firmly all over the bottom of the oven
- Preheat the oven to 250 Degrees
- Place the bowl or cake pan, filled with hot tap water, on the top rack
- Cut 2 more lemons in half and place them on the top rack with the water bowl
- Close the oven door
- Wait an hour and then shut off the oven
- Open the door and allow the oven to cool until cool enough to touch
- Use a damp micro fiber cloth to wipe down the door and the inside
- Touch spots? Rub with a scurbbing sponge
Why It Works:
As the water heats up, the resulting steam and lemon will help soften stuck-on mess.
