CANVAS

What you need:

  • Washing Machine
  • Cold Water
  • Detergent

How to:

  1. Canvas is a heavy, firm very tightly woven fabric. It was originally made from cotton or linen, but now comes in synthetics or blends.
  2. Machine wash canvas in cold water with laundry detergent
  3. Tumble dry on low setting
  4. Remove as soon as the dryer shuts off to avoid wrinkles

Warnings & Cautions:

Be sure to test for colorfastness before washing. It it's not colorfast, have it dry-cleaned. To test for colorfastness: Moisten a seam with water. Let sit a few minutes and then blot with a tissue, paper towel or napkin. If color comes off as you blot the garment is NOT colorfast. Have it dry-cleaned.
