ANGORA

What you need:

  • Basin for washing
  • Mild soap or shampoo
  • Several Towels
  • Iron or steamer

How to:

  1. Angora is a wool made of rabbit fur or goat hair
  2. Angora sheds a lot and is often blended with nylon so it will shed less
  3. Wash Angora in warm or cool water using a very mild soap or a little shampoo
  4. DO NOT rub, twist or lift the garment up and down in the water or it will stretch
  5. Washing in a sink is best. Gently lower the garment into the sink of water and soap/shampoo. Press down on it several times
  6. Let the water run out of the sink and then press the liquid out of the garment
  7. Rinse well again, pressing the water out
  8. Roll the garment in a towel to gently remove water and then reshape it to size using care not to stretch
  9. Dry flat out of the sun
  10. Do not press - instead, hold a steam iron or steamer just above the garment to remove wrinkles.
  11. Be sure it is totally dry before storing
  12. To store it is best to gently loosely fold and store on a shelf or in a drawer. Hanging may stretch it.

Warnings & Cautions:

Wash Angora separately so it doesn't shed on other fabrics.
