ANGORA
What you need:
- Basin for washing
- Mild soap or shampoo
- Several Towels
- Iron or steamer
How to:
- Angora is a wool made of rabbit fur or goat hair
- Angora sheds a lot and is often blended with nylon so it will shed less
- Wash Angora in warm or cool water using a very mild soap or a little shampoo
- DO NOT rub, twist or lift the garment up and down in the water or it will stretch
- Washing in a sink is best. Gently lower the garment into the sink of water and soap/shampoo. Press down on it several times
- Let the water run out of the sink and then press the liquid out of the garment
- Rinse well again, pressing the water out
- Roll the garment in a towel to gently remove water and then reshape it to size using care not to stretch
- Dry flat out of the sun
- Do not press - instead, hold a steam iron or steamer just above the garment to remove wrinkles.
- Be sure it is totally dry before storing
- To store it is best to gently loosely fold and store on a shelf or in a drawer. Hanging may stretch it.
Warnings & Cautions:
Wash Angora separately so it doesn't shed on other fabrics.
