How to remove grease from fabrics with something you probably use most days
How to remove grease from fabrics with something you probably use most days
How to:
- Lay the fabric out so you can clearly see the grease spot
- Spray the spot with hairspray. Apply it heavily and cover the entire spot
- Shake on baby powder, talc or cornstarch and rub it in slightly
- Add a little more powder to the surface
- Let this sit about 15 to 30 minutes
- Launder as usual
- Do not put in the dryer until you are certain the grease is gone

This works best on a fresh grease stain. If it is an old stain, or this does not remove it, please check out the other tips on grease removal
Why It Works:
The alcohol in the hairspray breaks up the grease and the powder absorbs it.
