The do’s and don’t of laundering micro fiber. Micro Fiber Cloths and mops are one of the best and most natural ways to clean. If you don’t take care of them correctly and wash them right they will just be expensive rags. Here are some tips to clean them.
How to:
- DO:
- Wash in warm water with plain detergent
- Air dry or dry on very low or Air Only in the dryer
- Micro Fiber is at it's best when used to clean with nothing but water
- Launder only with other micro fiber otherwise the microfiber will pick up lint from other fabrics
- DON'T:
- Wash in hot water
- Use bleach
- Use fabric Softener
- Use Fragrance Beads
- Use Fragrance Beads
- Use detergent with additives
- Dry with heat in the dryer
- Apply oils or furniture polishes with them
Notes:
Do not apply oils or furniture polishes with them - the oil will not wash out of the cloth. If you are using it with oil, keep it separate
