DIY natural solution to remove mold and mildew
What you need:
- Water (2 Cups)
- Tea-tree oil (2 teaspoons)
- Baking Soda (1/4 cup)
- Spray bottle (24 oz.)
- Bowl (to hold 1 cup)
- Brush, toothbrush and/or scrubbing sponge
How to:
- Combine the water and tea-tree oil into a 24 oz spray bottle. Shake well.
- Heavily spray moldy areas with the solution and let sit 24 hours
- Once the time is up, pour 1/4 - cup of baking soda into a small bowl
- Gradually spritz it with the water/tea-tree oil solution until a glue like paste forms
- Apply to the moldy surface using a clean tooth brush, brush or scrubbing sponge
- Scrub well and rinse

This works great on Tubs, showers, shower curtains, shower doors and grout
Why It Works:
Tea-tree oil is antibacterial and antifungal, so it wipes out mold and mildew. The baking soda paste removes any discoloration left behind.
