Stickers On Wood

What you need:

  • Oil - Vegetable, olive or baby oil
  • Dull Straight Edge (dish scraper, plastic putty knife, old credit card)
  • Paper Towels
  • Soft cloth

How to:

  1. This works on price tags, identifying labels, or decals on wood. Any label stuck to wood furniture
  2. Using a dull straight edge, lift as much of the label as possible
  3. Cover the rest of the sticker with your choice of oil
  4. Let sit at least 15 minutes
  5. Using the dull straight edge remove what you can
  6. If needed, apply more oil, let it sit 15 minutes and then using the dull straight edge and/or rag, rub off the balance
  7. Polish over the area with a soft cloth
