Homemade Laundry Detergent

What you need:

  • Baking Soda
  • Washing Soda
  • Castile or Zote Soap
  • Essential Oil (optional)
  • Whisk

How to:

  1. Combine in a large bowl:
  2. 16 - Cups Baking Soda
  3. 12 - Cups Washing Soda
  4. 8 - Cups grated Castile, Zote or Fels Naptha Laundry Bar Soap
  5. 3 - Tablespoons Your favorite essential oil (optional)
  6. Mix the Baking Soda, Washing Soda and your soap choice well
  7. If using, mix in the essential oil well
  8. Store in a labeled container with a lid
  9. Use 1/8 - Cup per load of laundry

1/8 - Cup is 2 Tablespoons Find Zote Soap,and Fels Naptha Laundry Bar Soap in the laundry spotting area Castile Bar Soap is in the bar soap aisle I like to put my recipe on my container so it is easy to make more. Washing Soda is NOT Baking Soda. Find it in the Laundry Additive aisle.
